New Utilities

ToggleRulesToggleRules add-in for Outlook allows you to enable or disable multiple rules at once. You have 2 set of rules: RuleSet1 and RuleSet2. Each set can contain any number of rules. (Dec 5)
 
RunAnyRuleAs you know, in the classic Outlook for Windows, rules can run automatically only in the "Inbox" folder (for ingoing messages) and in the "Sent Items" folder (for sent messages). You can manually (but not automatically!) execute your rules in other folders. This add-in for Outlook allows you to manually or automatically run the set of rules in any folders. RunAnyRule add-in also can set if the given rule will be applied to all messages or to only read messages or to only unread ones. (Nov 21)

SendAsDLThis add-in will automatically substitute the From: address when you reply to or forward a message sent to the distribution list. In other words, when a person who is a member of the distribution list replies to a message sent to the distribution list, the default sender address will be the distribution list address. (Jun 27)

Updated Utilities

ReplyWithAttIn Outlook for Windows, when we reply/reply all to the email with attachments, the attachments are not available and we have to add them manually. A lot of people want to retain attachments when they reply or reply to all. This add-in allows a user to reply to a message and include the original attachment. Version 1.0.7 is just released. Small bugs have been fixed. (Oct 10)
 
RightFrom for OutlookRightFrom automatically fills in the correct From address when the user is responding to a message in another user's Exchange mailbox. Also RightFrom utility can associate the signatures with the mailboxes. When John Doe navigates to Sales mailbox and clicks the "New message" button, the From: field will be populated automatically with "Sales" and the salesperson (non-default) signature will be added to the message automatically too. Outlook Folder Homepages are missingIn the Outlook update released on October 10 2017, the Folder Homepages setting was deprecated and removed to close a security vulnerability. Removing the folder home page capability "broke" a lot of applications; this can be fixed by setting a registry key. (Oct 23)
 
Custom Form Security ChangesIn the September 12 2017 security update, Microsoft disabled custom form script functionality. Forms with code behind them generate this error message: To help prevent malicious code from running, one or more objects in this form were not loaded. For more information, contact your administrator. If you need scripts enabled, you'll need to set two keys, one to enable scripting and a second one with the message class name of each form that has code behind it. (Oct 23)
